Dr. Sabrina S. Hughes, DNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-C, APRN

Dr. Sabrina S. Hughes is more than a provider—she is the visionary owner and CEO of Sabrina’s Nurse Practitioner Services, LLC, and Divine Behavioral Health and Wellness, with over 20 years of professional nursing and healthcare experience. Dr. Hughes is dual-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Hughes brings both advanced clinical expertise and a deeply compassionate approach to care.

Her educational journey reflects a strong commitment to excellence, beginning at John Tyler Community College, followed by a BSN and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Virginia Commonwealth University, an MSN from University of Phoenix, a Family Nurse Practitioner post-master’s certificate from South University, and a post-doctorate PMHNP certification from Radford University.

Dr. Hughes specializes in psychiatric and crisis assessments, medication management, and comprehensive mental health evaluations, with expertise in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use with MAT, and mood disorders. She is dedicated to creating a supportive, judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward healing and long-term wellness.

Dr. Sabrina S. Hughes also provides medical weight loss services through a dedicated program focused on evidence-based, medically supervised care. Within this program, she supports eligible patients using GLP-1 and GIP-based therapies—such as medications in the incretin receptor agonist class—to assist with appetite regulation, metabolic health, and long-term weight management. These treatments are prescribed as part of a comprehensive plan and may be fulfilled through licensed compounding pharmacies when clinically appropriate and individualized to patient needs.

This weight loss program is integrated into the broader care offered through Sabrina’s Nurse Practitioner Services, LLC and Divine Behavioral Health and Wellness, emphasizing not only medication support but also lifestyle guidance, behavioral change, and ongoing clinical monitoring to help patients achieve sustainable, long-term results.

Sonya Weaver, MSN, PMHNP-BC, APRN

Sonya Weaver is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with over 20 years of diverse healthcare experience. She provides comprehensive psychiatric care through Sabrina’s Nurse Practitioner Services, LLC and Divine Behavioral Health and Wellness, where she specializes in diagnosing and treating mental health and substance use disorders across the lifespan. Her services include psychiatric evaluations, medication management, crisis intervention, and individualized treatment planning, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders.

Sonya earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, building on her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Liberty University and her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she spent a decade with the Central Virginia VA Health System as a Transitional Care Registered Nurse Case Manager, where she helped reduce hospital readmissions for congestive heart failure by over 12%, improving patient outcomes and lowering healthcare costs. Her background also includes telephonic case management, hospice leadership, detention center nursing, and intensive care unit (ICU) experience—reflecting her ability to deliver compassionate, high-quality care across a wide range of clinical settings.

In addition to her psychiatric expertise, Sonya has specialized training in body sculpting and wellness therapies, supporting a holistic approach to care.
